Millions of individuals in the U.S. and worldwide succumb to complex, chronic illnesses such as M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome), which affect the neurological, endocrine and immune systems of the body, and are extraordinarily debilitating.

It is estimated that 25% of ME/CFS patients are either bedbound or housebound, losing the opportunity to work, to play, even to get married and have children.   There is no cure.

But, there is a chance to provide these patients with a better quality of life, and even a chance at recovery.   A significant number have found in low-pollutant environments, while living in non-toxic, mold-safe homes, with adequate care and support, that they can accelerate healing and their return to health and a full life.

DFEND, NFP aims to build centers for housing and treatment in such locations, where patients could live in non-toxic, quiet, healing environments, and actually have a chance at recovery.   You can help us!
